I dont know if they still do bingo on a sunday or the meat raffle but thats the sort of place it is. ok if you re thick skinned lots of banter and heckling with or without reason ,watch out if you re new in town or just visiting as they dont make strangers welcome and make it very clear its their pub.Perched on a bit of a hill surrounded by grass it looks so inviting ,and the open fires in the winter give an eerie warmth to this historical relic..........enter at your peril.
